The teaching-learning is a continuous process to reach the greater heights of education.

Chemistry places a strong emphasis on understanding of the nature and properties of the matter from nano to atomic /molecular level .It has a greater role to play in all scientific endeavours starting from manufacture of everyday essential products to the exploration of life elsewhere in the universe.

MISSION:

To ensure effective dissemination of knowledge and skills in chemistry to the learners.
To develop innovative abilities and skills of learners by adapting pedagogical tools.
To motivate students to pursue advanced studies in the subject and contribute to society.

ABOUT DEPARTMENT:

The department of chemistry at BNSC has the high degree of expertise in training young minds in this central science.

The BNSC offers UG&PG Programmes in chemistry. The Faculty of the Department have excellent academic credentials and are actively involved in teaching , conducting experiments, research and arranging seminars/workshops.

The well equipped, spacious and well maintained laboratories, modern teaching aids and full fledged library facilities make learning a fruitful process.
