Department of Physics

The Department of Physics was established in the year 1956 with B.Sc. Courses with Physics as one of the subjects. It is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana State. The courses offered are Mathematics, Physics Computer Science (MPCS), Mathematics, Physics, Electronics (MPE), Mathematics, Physics, Geology (MPG) and Mathematics, Physics, Statistics (MPS).

To refresh and update the faculty with the improvised curriculum developments thereby enhancing their teaching standards.

To enhance teaching methodology through multimedia teaching aids like ICT tools, Virtual and Digital classrooms.

PHYSICS LAB:

​

Physics Laboratory understands this ''Fundamental to Success''. The objective of Physics Laboratory is to demonstrate the principles of experimental practice in Physics. And to show how measurement, experiment design & modern instrumentation can be used most effectively and to encourage the creative use of experimental & theoretical physics in areas which may be unfamiliar. The emphasis is focused upon experiment design & use of Core & Applied Physics fundamentals.

  The Physics Laboratory at BNSC have been structured as - General Physics Laboratory, Physics Dark Room, and Modern Physics Laboratory. The three Physics Laboratories primarily address to students at introductory graduate levels in degree. The Physics Laboratory at BNSC is equipped with state of the art equipments not only in the field of Pure but also in Applied Physics.
